Program Overview

The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) Training Course is designed to prepare designated safety personnel with the knowledge, authority, and competency required to manage and enforce site safety and health programs on construction projects. The course focuses on hazard identification, regulatory compliance, accident prevention, and implementation of site-specific safety controls, in accordance with USACE EM 385-1-1 and applicable OSHA standards.

This training is intended for personnel assigned as SSHO or acting safety representatives, responsible for implementing the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and ensuring compliance with contractual safety requirements throughout project execution.
