Course Overview

The OSHA 30Hour Construction Industry Training is an advanced safety awareness program designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of occupational safety and health standards applicable to construction activities. The course emphasizes hazard recognition, accident prevention, and supervisory responsibilities under OSHA’s Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926). Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the OSHA 30Hour Construction course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the purpose and requirements of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926)
  • Recognize and evaluate common construction hazards, including OSHA’s Focus Four hazards
  • Apply accident prevention principles to daily construction operations
  • Understand employer and employee rights and responsibilities under the OSHA Act
  • Demonstrate awareness of supervisor and management responsibilities for safety compliance
  • Support the development and implementation of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and site safety controls
  • Promote a proactive culture of safety through leadership, communication, and enforcement
